3 Strange Maps

These three maps I found to be unique and interesting to me for a couple reasons. Something I found that I was gravitating towards while looking for maps is layers, and each of these maps has several components that layer or come together to provide levels of information and a dynamic visual. These three also each have a component of mapping humans’ relationship with the space through paths and trails of line, which is something I’ve been thinking a lot about and searching for inspiration for my own map project. These maps are not just representing the architecture of a physical space, but the relationships with people, economics, food, and thought, which is why I find them so compelling.
